Was given it at a meeting. Plain white box with no indication of what it was. USB connection white, round, flat domed "thing". So I plugged it into my XP SP3 laptop - a red light flashed constantly whilst the computer tried to install it. Human input device sorry cannot install. So I tried it on my Win7 desktop success - installed. It sat there with mellow lights changing colour, pretty. Not a mouse as there was no sensor on the base, but it did "click" if pressed. So I pressed it ...
A small Run window opened, a URL magically typed itself in and I was transported to a web site!! A reputable one I might add, but what sort of gadget is it that can do that?

A naughty one? Sounds dodgy to me, or should I say, it sounds like it could be used very easily for dodgy means.

Ah not quite - the box didn't have anything on it but the device does. I knew it was from a reputable source which is the only reason I plugged it in. But I didn't know what it was going to do.
I've read about the Edugeek Emergency Launch device but didn't know what that was either. I don't know much right now, think I need a holiday
