Butter Pie Recipe Thanks for the recipe to give us all a better idea of the composition of the snack in question. I was picturing some kind of gooey concoction of butter and sugar encased in pastery and almost had a sympathetic corronary blockage from the mere thought of consuming them

Given the recipe contains both butter and dripping (I'm sure only wimps substitute veg oil for the dripping), your original idea about coronaries may not be far from the mark!
