But that didn't work, so we've upped the game. Changing his logon/lock picture, sounds, colours, mouse left/right.. He still only locks his machine 50% of the time. We're going to have to get real evil soon..
You could always put their baby pictures as their desktop

He doesn't even have a mobile phone..
Besides, I wouldn't want the jokes to become misconstrued as 'too personal'.

Hide everything (icons, taskbar, etc). Get a glitch cursor graphics set and a background mimicking a trashed LCD screen.

    Genius!
Having a quick look, but I can't find any wallpaper-sized pictures They're all just photographs of broken screens lol. Not exactly like you can take a screenshot of it, I guess.

Why don't we have an evil rubbing-hands-together emoticon?

My friends at college once took a screen shot of my screen, set it as wallpaper then hid all icons and moved the startmenu. It took me a couple of minutes to suss out what had happened, but it was funny. I was clicking on stuff and it just wasn't working!

We've all done that one before

Also.. Done! Knew it'd only be a matter of time.. (I also might have told him to go and do some inventory-ing in prep for the holidays.. )

The results are in! He kinda panicked for a moment.. Probably didn't help that when he noticed it, I played along with "How've you managed that? You didn't drop something on it as you left, did you? I don't think we have a spare.."
