.... or why not just see the 2D version of it that's probably playing in the next screen and then you won't have to make/wear them silly glasses or put up with the "30% Colour Loss"

Mark Kermode's Film Reviews are classic! (Every Friday 2 - 4pm on Radio 5Live - In case anyone is wondering!)
well on saturday we went to see avatar, the 2D version (its a large cinema (xscape in castleford)) and we had to go at half 11am because its the only sowing they do in 2D, and even then its only once a week !!! why oh why does everything have to be 3D!!!
I think the reason is so they can charge an extra few quid for you to go and see it. It's a con - if I want to take my two boys now to watch a film and it's only showing in 3D I have to fork out an extra £10. If anything it should be 30% cheaper because of the 30% colour loss.....
On a different note, what did you think of Dancing With Wolves In Space ? Sorry, Avatar ?
Same here, went to see avatar 3d, the first time ever watching a 3d film, from what i can remember anyway.
I dont enjoy it at all, i just ended up paying extra to end up with a headache, and if your like me have to wear glasses, its not much fun at all.
I dont understand why over the past 12-18months they have jumped back on to 3d films, other then what you have said about charging an extra £2, bearing in mind a normal film is about £6-7 quid, thats £9 for an adult, might aswel wait for the dvd for that kind of money :P
