21st December 2009, 11:57 AM #4 Just don't ruin your xmas getting ill because you should have been tucked up in bed. Work will be there when you get back. Swine flu is still about too. Make sure you look after your health if you feel bad. Try do some of it remotely from home if you can.

21st December 2009, 12:32 PM #5 Ive managed to get ill just in time for christmas too. It literally is the only time ive been ill the entire year, so its pretty bad timing. Looks like Im just about going to be better for the big day though.
Today I mostly feel crap because of a hangover rather than illness
As above, get yourself home if you feel that bad

21st December 2009, 02:33 PM #8 @BandyQuill:
There's your answer staring you in the face, you need copius amounts of alchohol to run and as you have admitted you have had a alchohol free weekend so there's your solution get lot's of alchohol starting from "as soon as you can" ( I too have a drink problem, 2 hands but only one mouth hehe!!) hope you get well soon my friend Hic!

21st December 2009, 02:41 PM #10 Stop moaning you big girl - else I'll come round and shout at you repeatedly which possibly won't make you feel better.
I'd advise fresh air too - recirculated air that's been through 4 million psu's is never the best thing. You have to be less ill for tomorrow night too...
(For all those thinking that's a bit harsh, I know BQ outside the forums...)

21st December 2009, 02:54 PM #12 Stick it out until home time, then pop into your local Curry House and ask for a curry you like, but with extra onions, garlic and Chillis.
You'll feel right as rain in the morning, and if you're the only person at work, you won;t have to worry about having Garlic pits and breath.

21st December 2009, 02:58 PM #14 And if the curry doesn't do the trick, stock up on those lovely "Pomfret Cakes" or Pontefract Cakes to give them their wider known name.
