I actually got a 'thank-you' gift yesterday, but as usual I doubt I will get a single Christmas present - I've never quite worked out why - but I'm not alone, none of the support staff get anything

So far this week I've received 5 bottles of cider, as I don't drink beer, and between us in the office we've demolished a tin of "Fox's Wonders" and a box of Sainsbury's assorted chocolate biscuits that were given. This morning we were given a chocolate sponge cake. Not exactly Christmas presents, though. Just "thank you" gifts. We never get actual pressies.

It sounds like you guys have very stingy and ungrateful staff, though.

The other guys in the office are on diets, so when I say "between us" I mean that I sacrifice my health for the rest of the team to make sure the gifts are well received.

So far we have M&S Sticky toffee caramels, Fox's buscuits, Sol lager and an assortment of real ale's and it's only Wednesday.

In school thus far I've had nothing, but I've not done anyone any huge favours this term (that I can remember anyhow). Got a selection of real ales from my GFs older sister for un-borking XP on her laptop.

Did give a box of chocolates to each of the front office, finance and caretaker. Always helps to look after those who can help you.

I've received a tenner and what appears to be a box of some form of alcohol.

I don't expect a lot, as the teachers hardly ever give anything to anyone, and the support staff have no money to spend as it is.

I just treat myself anyway. A new game 'The Saboteur' for me

Ive just got a tin of celebrations from SLT So far thats it got a few tins of sweets and bottles last year but still 2 days left i suppose! Got secret santa on friday as well!!

i got some cadburys heroes from one of my schools with the note "Thanks for all your hard work and patience"

Tallan here has had to be tied down as the chocolates seem to distract him.

Webman has actually put on weight this past week with the amount we have recieved.

We have a box of Celebrations from our DH, also I got a box of chocs for sorting out an office with 2 PC's for the cover teachers, don't think they have used it though!!
