Find somewhere suitable to store it for a few months.

Someone's being pretty decent then, that car's worth a bit more than that if it's in good nick. Well worth the money, insurance isn't too steep on them.

Yeah very true, well after looking at it it appears the speedo's dont work and a few other things but technically i should be able to fix them with the bits of my broken peice of tin

Going to have a look at it weekend i think, but not sure if the parts are going to be the same even though it is same make and model. Just different engines but we shall see..

Failing that i will get the Astra SXI Sport 1.6 that i want in black mmmmm

I've got an old BMX you can borrow? 2 new tyres, and stunt pegs.

Hi James, There are massive differences between Phase 1 and Phase 2 306's. Fortunately there only minor differences between Phase 2 and Phase 3 306's so most parts are interchangeable.
If you go down the route of using your “old” 306 as a donor car make sure you have a Haynes manual to hand (I also find independent Peugeot specialists very helpful as well).

    All the best, regards

    Ben
