Thought I would BUMP this thread today, seen as I got a new alarm clock at 6:30 this morning to say we are CLOSED due to the snow here today!

Anyone else get this news today?

Me too...all i know is that its bloody cold here...according to bbc and met office we are in for some snow here but not til this afternoon...

well if it does come i can keep my fingers crossed for tomorrow...

We seem to have had some snow, feels more like a heavy frost though. Maybe 2mm of snow, lol.

Closed but not informed until after the time i would usualy set out. Didn't set out as any fool could see that that amount of snow would mean closure. Feel sorry for anyone who set off earlier to battle their way into school only to find it closed.

According to the beeb it's supposed to be snowing in Birmingham now. It isn't though so I am in work If we get snow later it will be a nightmare to get back home on the M6!

We were closed yesterday due to snow & other problems, open again today as we only had another 2-3 cm snow overnight. I think the weather front is moving south now

Snowing here in plymouth right now, a few staff living in north devon or cornwall havent made it in...


also i find the bbc weather to be highy inacurrate so i always use metcheck..

Snowed overnight again in Northumberland, so we're closed in Seahouses.
