    Hi Im new to the forums and was just wondering what sort of setup you guys use at home?

    Mine:
    Core i7 920 @ 3.2 with Thermalright 120
    Asus P6T Deluxe
    6GB Corsair XMS3 DDR3
    1x 150GB WD VelociRaptor (X25-M soon!)
    2x 500GB WD Caviars in RAID0
    evga 8800GTX
    Antec TruePower 750W PSU
    lian-li v600
    24" Dell monitor
    Win 7 Pro x64
    Edirol MA15D speakers

    Provides a lot of relief from a hard day at work with your average Stone machine

    Akasa Infiniti Full Atx Case needs to be with all my drives lol

    p.s yeah i love storage shoot me lol

    Looking to upgrade to 8GB and Quadcore after chrimbo

    Haven't done one of these for a while so here goes

    Intel Core2Duo E8400 3GHz
    Gigabyte EP35-DS3
    (4x1GB) DDR2 800MHz/PC2-6400 CL 4-4-4-15 PLATINUM XTC
    ATI HD3870 512Mb
    2 x 75Gb (no idea what make ) running in RAID 0
    Silverstone Strider 600W PSU
    Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit

    All running through HDMI through a Matsui 32" HDTV and a little 17" Dell flat panel

    Can't remember what the ESX or WHS servers are hardware wise and i'm not going to check right now

    some wireless logitech (£50 jobby as dumbo in pc world cant read a box so got it for about £25 lol)

    ms media centre remote and receiver
    acer 32" hdtv (old and no hdmi)
    audio via a sony strdb780 av amp
    win 7 pro (couldnt see the point in ultimate) x64

    and various other usb junk

    I used to have an Akasa Eclipse 62 but traded it in for my tiny v600. That thing was HUGE and wouldn't fit in my car, so naturally it had to go

    Same as, my HDD is at 5.9 and then VGA at 6.0 and 6.1

    My HDD is letting me down too. Im saving up for an SSD which should speed things up, we'll see what santa brings eh?

    320gb sata 300 7200 rpm hdd as boot drive
    74 gb velicoraptor 10,000 rpm sata 150 for windows xp drive
    500gb sata 300 7200 rpm storage
    1.5 tb sata 300 7200 rpm storage

    2 external hard drives

    money permitting hopefully upgrading ram later on so i can make my own test network. youtube video below just to give a rough idea
