Freedom of Information Act - Telephones

Doe anyone know if you have the right under the Data Protection / Freedom of Information Act to request that a certain telephone company give you details of all calls made to your telephone number, including calls where the caller's number has been withheld?

They would probably give you a list of incoming calls, but probably wouldn't divulge the number behind a witheld call (either from them not knowing it or to protect the privacy of the person who witheld it).
Post back on here though - I've thought about this before but didn't need to follow through with a request in the end.

Isn't the FOI just for public authorities?

FoI only applies to publicly-funded organisations.

Under data protection legislation, you can request a disclosure of information held that directly relates to you, but you certainly won't get withheld numbers out of them (I couldn't even do it for nuisance calls that I wanted to report to the TPS ).

I think the only time you can request a weitheld number to be investigated is with a crime reference number for nuisance calls.
