The first one was amazing - for it's time the special effects are still jaw dropping. [ Remember it was 1979 and it looked better than Star Wars and Star Trek ] The second was much better when the proper cut was released - [ extra 20 mins ] - the book by Alan Dean Foster - [ who also did Star Trek ] was fantastic. The third one was okish.... The fourth I just did not enjoy.
And I am now rather cross with the crappy AvP.

I'd have gone with the reveal at the end. Even re-watching the film and knowing the outcome - Spaceys acting is superb. Watching him walk out the police station is absolutly brilliant.

Speaking of Kevin Spacey, there's always American Beauty

Loved American Beauty - the despondency and despair is just so well portrayed.

Almost Famous - another one for me to dig out and watch again.

I'm waiting for someone to post something about a film I have yet to see.... [ will be quite hard though as I am a massive film buff ] - but I am sure there will be a few if the thread continues.

    I'll add a few more:

One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest - When the nurse disallows the patients from watching the Baseball game.

Taxi Driver - Not the part you are all thinking of - the very ending. When I saw it for the first time to me [ I was quite young at the time ] it was shocking.

    The Shining - "Hereeeeee's Johnny!"

North by Northwest - 'That plane's dustin' crops where there ain't no crops.'

The Graduate - 'Mrs. Robinson, you're trying to seduce me!'

The Good, Bad, Ugly - The Whole Film !!
