So it's going to be wet then!

    Met Office: Preston: forecast weather

What can I say apart from 'glug glug'?
I particularly like the severe weather warning in place for Lancashire for the next 3 days. It never does this for snow! I like snow.

4 Days of torrential downpour! I'm glad our office is on the first floor, and have a 4x4!

I've just checked our forecast, but am relieved to see that Kent's going to escape this time... 1.5 inches of rain on Friday was not good... the sewer blocked and all the kids got sent home. We stayed.

Then again there is me saying that and its a warning for us over the border as well! Never mind my Office is high enough up, the Server room is also not that bad tbh, so long as the roof doesn't leak over it we will be fine (or the sewers back up seen as it backs onto the gents loo's)

You're going to get it quite bad as well John. Almost twice the rainfall over the pennines!

I'd take rain over snow any day! As much as I like snow having to drive to work on icy roads is just horrible.

Having heard about the predicted 15cm of rain, I can only sympathise with those of you up North and hope you don't get washed away. I just can't imagine that volume of rain
