After much searching I couldn't find a Poppy Appeal corner banner to use on our website, so I made my own. It's simple enough but thought I would post it here in case anyone wants to use it on their school website too.
Cheers

Be careful the positioning of your poppy doesn't conform to standard.

So am I breaking rules by using this?

No it was in jest, there was also something saying the leaf should point to 11 o'clock which yours doesn't.

Ok - so I'm safe(Was only trying to help)
Mine was an FYI post.
I personally usually buy a poppy but don't wear it.
There's too many people insist you wear one, and to be quite frank I don't like to be ordered to believe / follow / do by those sorts.
<inflamatory comment>Anyway, shouldn't the poppy community be going green and stop wasting plastic etc?</inflamatory comment>
In this crazy society that we have today, I'm surprised no-one has been 'offended' by it.

Plenty of people find offence in the seeming obligation of wearing a poppy. I'm happy to donate to charities, I just don't like my choice being dictated by societal norms.
The poppy I wear is now about 5 years old, still donate every year but just don't see the point in getting a new poppy every time.
Any other school had fun and games with the red poppy/white poppy debate?
@TheLibrarian
missed that one! Will mention that next year, by which time we'll probably also have the green poppy in rememberance of all the plants killed in wars lol.
What colours should we have for insects?!?![]()
