At a BCS Working Party Weekend at Leamington Spar at the Leamington Spa Courtyard hotel so maybe if time permits will be willing to meetup with anyone in the area for a quick drink

I keep missing these BCS events. There's one soon in our area (Northampton) and I have thought about going. Are they any good?

bcs event i am off to is slight difference as I am on BCS Schools Working Group for bcs and as should I get hotel and travel costs covered for weekend. As this event is looking at education and bcs etc etc

As for branch meetings all depends on the branch but most of them are good dont have much chance to get locasl Leicester one.

Sunday at 2 sounds decent to me, although i'll have to check that the lady doesn't have any plans.
The Tiller Pin on queensway (behind mcdonalds) is resonable and they do decent food if you're hungry, also looks quite close to your hotel.
