16th October 2009, 02:31 PM #5 CSE Education Systems?
I've never used them for cabling or AV, but I did use a CSE Network once upon a time. They are nice people to deal with.
If you're looking at fibre I'd be tempted to look at a data specialist company rather than a "total solutions provider" (I hate that phrase!) point of view, but that's just me

As above really.
I moved from an RM Connect 2.4 network to a CSE Network using their old CAL4 system, and used WebSpace Explorer too. They were decent guys to work with. Steve Hawkins is still there but I don't think he works in sales anymore (I could be wrong though). Their support was good as well.
I hear that their products have moved on a lot since my CAL4 days.
If you want a managed network enviroment that isn't RM and isn't too expensive compared to a vanilla system I'd still recommend them. (Although personally I'd say do it yourselves and go vanilla!)

16th October 2009, 03:15 PM #8 I just used Novatech for projectors + Install and they did a great job!
I go for Epson projectors with the 3 year bulb warranty.

16th October 2009, 03:43 PM #9 For the projectors I'd give Audioworks a ring, the have done some for me and are amazing, very professional, couldn't ask for a better service. Tel: 015242 61628 Audioworks (NW) Online is the website.
For make, I use NEC Projectors myself and am very pleased with them they are very reliable.

29th October 2009, 09:48 AM #10 I'd recommend CSE also. Their installation chaps are top notch, sales are quick and efficient and they know what they're doing. Only had them do networking stuff myself, but I'd say give them a go.

We recently had CSE in to install 7 smartboards and projectors, and couldn't fault them.
They were very helpful in the design stage, our account manager definitely knows her stuff and gave some really helpful advice. We also had a visit from an engineer prior to ordering to make sure the installation would go smoothly.
The project was out to 5 companies to quote on, and I must admit with the attention to detail I got from CSE I was expecting a bloated quote, but they beat everyone hands down. We're in Scarborough, so they are based very local to us. It's nice to be able to send work locally rather than to some guy on the end of the phone the other end of the country who hasn't even visited the site!
Installation was scheduled for 3 days but actually only took 2 and a bit which was handy as we had alot of work to get done after too! Their engineers did a very neat, professional installation - definitely go for the Nuvo speakers, they save so much wiring (and are great for plugging your ipod in when you're working in the room!!)
Anyway, give them a call, its 01723 366512
If you're not too far from Scarborough you'd be more than welcome to pop in and see our rooms!
