We have just installed Google Earth and all seems fine apart from the kids get a 403 error - this is because they are whitelisted on the net.
Does anybody know where Google pulls its data from so I can add it to the whitelist and get it working?

I've just logged on as a kid and Google Earth works fine - not sure what the teacher is one about.
Has anybody else experienced 403 errors?

A 403 error is forbidden, so I presume that all your traffic is routed to your LA? Have you checked with them?
As an alternative Bing Maps as it's now called is not bad and works directly through your browser.

Ok this is the error we are getting (attached) - We only get the error when a student searches for something. They can move the earth and zoom in fine.
It works fine as a teacher which tells me that our student whitelist is blocking the site this search function needs to see. I will add the site to our whitelist, I just need to find out what the site is.
Any ideas? Or any way to find out (Software etc)?
We have already added earth.google.com
Cheers

Try whitelisting these:
kh.google.com
maps.google.com
auth.keyhole.com

Nah, none of them worked.

UPDATE: Just got a packet sniffer and it turns out it tries to get to maps.google.co.uk instead of .com
Added this to the whitelist, tested as a kid, and works a treat.
