    local network games

    Hi,

    Our school is starting up a gaming club after the pupil finish at 3:10 til 4:30, but we need some local network games, we so far have; paintball2 and trackmania and we are testing out table tennis pro V2 lite at the moment, is there any chance any knows any more???

    Warpath by Synthetic Reality's always a good one, and they've got a good handful of other good network games there.

    There's also a nice MMORPG one which they make, with a very easy world/story-building system if you feel like letting the kids do some of their own design.

    I remember my days as a ICT Technician and running a Pure Unreal Tournament Server (99)

    Classic days, used to run it off a old Toshiba Desktop in our server room (back in the day), used to get a good 20 kids on one map

    Got banned in the end

    You'll need to grab a copy of the open-source replacement for the original TTD graphics [OpenGFX Readme - OpenTTD]. Apparently the OpenGFX graphics aren't yet complete but should be sufficient, however I've never tried them myself so YMMV.
