So how's <insert popular tv show here> going?

    Reading's a good, healthy activity.

Not to mention polaroid cameras lasting so long, until digital cameras became an option.

Quite enjoy the books tbh. No more fictional than the Bible - but that's another story

(And oddly enough, the only books I've read other than the Red Dwarf ones )

Yet what is classed as a good book? Because we all seem to have different perceptions of what a good book is here....

Pretty much irrelevant. Everyone can define good books for themselves, the main point is that readers are just better.

You must read books whilst at the Gym or in the swimming pool then. Most folk I know read books whilst sat on their backsides. Healthy for the brain maybe, but not for the body.

How is my post irrelevant? It was in response to jcollings quote - if any post (IF) is irrelevant then it would be jcollings, not mine.

There's more kinds of health than just the body.

Besides which I walk into town about once a week (14 miles each way), run regularly, fence and exercise for a minimum of 20 minutes each day. Plus reading a book is at least more interactive and energetic than watching television.

Sorry, I should've clarified, the irrelevant comment wasn't about your post but the definition of a good book. Its an individual thing, you decide for yourself whether something's good or not, whether its a book, food, a show, or a computer.
