Papercut MFD problem
We have 2 new Ricoh copiers in school now, with PaperCut MFD and we have an issue.
When anyone tries to do more than 1 copy, it just prints a single sheet and then effectively ends their session, forcing them to log out and back in to do more.
I have not set any settings to do this, so it is a problem. The accounts have plenty of cash in them to do more than 1 copy also.
Anyone with PaperCut experience know what may be causing this?

Check if there are any restrictions on the printers by default, I know there is an option to limit the number of copies in this way - just not sure what it's set to by default!

I've checked that already - there are no restrictions other than being charged per page.

On the printers "recent jobs" tab does it show the correct number of pages, is there any comment in the status column?
You could try printing directly to the printer over the network and see if it is a Papercut issue or the copier.

Latest driver from the Download | Ricoh Support Europe page - with it being networked I would advise the PCL 5 driver , the PCL 6 Ricoh drivers are flakey or buggy and you won't be able to use the post script driver unless the post script option is on the machine.

It shows an incorrect number, and that it printed - and note, these are MFD's not printers, so this is a problem on the copier interface not the printer driver.
It is a papercut MFD issue with the copiers. It isn't directly a copier fault.

It turned out to be an issue with Papercut and the copiers coming out of hibernation. Papercut have released a patch which solved it.

It is an internal patch at the moment, but will be included in the next release of PaperCut. So, people who need it would need to contact their seller, who puts you in touch with the local distributor (Select Technology Ltd. for me).
