    After the last annual calculations of your fiscal activity, we have determined that you are eligible to receive a tax refund of 988.50 GBP. Please submit the tax refund request and allow us 2-3 days in order to process it.

    The attachment asks for bank details.... (like the taxman does have all of them anyway )

    Spammers will try anything these days. i'd recommend you notify HMRC as I suspect this will most likely fool someone.

    Hi, Just got this email aswell. Found it here so it seems they are trying this fraud in 2013 as well.
    The sad thing is that scams like this just need to work once in every 1000 to be extremely profitable. Im not sure how to report a scam like this?
