    Cup of sugar?

    Desperate Housewives Season 1?
    Battlestar Galactica Mini-Series?

I'm guessing you aren't close enough to buy her fun underwear?

Ikea or Argos vouchers. Particularly if she's moving from her parent's or from a shared place. She'll need loads of domestic stuff.

Whoops clicked the wrong button there and gave thanks LOL.

Why not offer to help her decorate? That would be a handy present.

How about a fake plant or something? Maybe a nice picture?

It's just that when I broke up with my ex and moved out I ended needing sooooo much stuff. I remember having a row with my brother because he bought me an expresso machine and I told him to take it back and change it for a lawn mower.

Either giftcards for local shops/ikea ect or something that can decorate, for example candles.

She sounds like just the sort of girl who could do with a good-as-new, blue-with-swirly-bits-on sofa bed. An absolute bargain at a mere £150 (negotiable), available for pick-up from Tooting, London.

Belive me, it's worth £150 to avoid traipsing around Ikea 5 weeks running looking at home furnishings.
