Just found out that my Pay and Grading appeal was a success and, rather than being awarded a £2,500 pay cut, I have now been given close to a £1,500 increase!!

We went through the same, were supposed to go down loads but after our boss had some words we were OK. However, we're fighting to be regraded but won't find out until November (at the earliest) if we will be successful.

Our LEA are going through Single Status at the moment, i could go on for hours about it but would probably end up getting the sack! its a right mess at the moment hope they sort it out.

It's a right mess everywhere....... No one actually knows the answers when you phone personnel, confusing messages, unions not being very good. Nightmare!

We have single status here, supposedly, although the school tend to save money by giving them a different name to what they actually do, hence costing less.
