cant speak for anyone else but i find motorway driving much easier than any other as its just hold constant rpm/speed and drive in a straight line you just need situational awareness so you know when a car is alongside etc but thats not something i think can be taught as such

The kids driving like maniacs on these shows don't always have licences and don't seem the sort to bother. Most of them are like 15-16 and from deprived council estates having a "laugh". Either that or drugs. If they were responsible enough to wait till they were old enough and then get a licence and go on a special fast driving track they probably would be different kids than the ones playing rally racing in the streets.

Again as i've put in many many topics like this, no child is the same and will deal with life differently. Regardless of policy / laws.
Stiff sentences for the ones that do commit these crimes is a deterrent and should not be eased up on because of their age. Yes they made a mistake but at the end of the day 99.9% of other kids didn't. Why taint the rest with the same brush...

This is a classic mis-use of statistics! it is a 66% increase but it's actually just 16 people (a total of 40 died).

OK; 40 people dying like this is 40 unnecessary deaths but it's still not as bad as a headline "66%" suggests!
