    Re: Clock watching

Our kids left on Wednesday. Admittedly, I did spend most of the day clock watching however.

Been my busiest day in about a term today.

Careers can't connect to their servers, inbound email not working, a leaver needs help copying work, SEN software not working, bloody shitness of the last day, JUST BUGGER OFF HOME!!!

    Re: Clock watching

    Kids left at 11.55

Escorted the last off-site at around 12.20

Staff food and drink started at 12.30

We have said the official farewell to our placement student, Tina, today.
Flowers, wine, chocolate and a little pressie ... and I am just packing up as we are disappearing over to Kettering for a meal at a nice little fuax Mafia Restaurant (Frankie & Benny's).

For those that are going to be sensible and get a holiday have fun and I'll catch up with you sometime during the summer ...

Me? I'll be in next week, as will the rest of the team (apart from the NM ... I'll allowed him a fortnight off) ... but Tina will be back in. She has 2 weeks of work left to do and she will be worked hard.

Bloody students ... sponging off the state ... wasting tax payers money on supid courses like "Spiderman 101: does mutation benefit the gene pool" ... running up huge debts in the student bar ... the least she can do is sweat a little in her last two weeks.

    Off for grub

    Re: Clock watching

Our kids and staff finished yesterday - the LA has booked a training day for today but we've cheated and taken ours over a few evenings. Crafty huh!
