Mr eBuyer : You want a kitchen ya?
Why are they sending me a catugolue for a new kitchen? Oh, they have a sister company that sells kitchens, umm, wtf? How do you get from computer stuff to kitchens? Surely, computer = man, kitchen = ladys. No ofference. Can you explain the logic?
Annoys me more as I live in a new build flat, which I rent. I though the Flat n in the address would have given it away? No? What about the delivery note of shared access? No?
How green is that ? Where is my opt-out of junk mail ?
Anyway, moan over, I'll waiting for the backlash of male computer geeks who love cooking

I love cooking. Even went so far as to ask for a set of good cooking knives as a present.
However, that doesn't mean if I've ordered some computer hardware I want a kitchen catalog to appear along with it.

10th June 2009, 10:24 AM #4 Gotta agree with you Matt40K I got the exact same catalogue and it just made me realise how bad my kitchen is....!!!!
But why would i buy a kitchen recommended by a computer reseller........ its like getting advice for a car from the local butcher.....

I suppose if I order it now, got it on finance, I could have paid it off and moved into my own house. Might still have to pick it up from the depo tho.

Why would your address give it away? It's not someone looking through the addresses seeing who would look like they might want a kitchen, its a computer system mailing out on mass. It doesnt discriminate.
Wasteful though I agree
Oh and kitchens certainly do not = ladies

What IS the weather like on the planet you live on??
So, if computer= man, then what ARE all these females doing on the forum? Filing our nails and dreaming of new kitchens? I don't think so , darling

I knew this would happen!!
Yes, women work in IT, yes men buy and use kitchens. My comment was based on statistics, most men would buy IT stuff over a kitchen, anyway, just a comment on it seems strange that a IT company would start doing kitchens, just waiting for news report that ebuyer is buying out IKEA.

Sorry i'll have to disagree, the last thing (comupter vs. kitchen) i bought was some chopping boards and knives from ikea =D oooh and some shiny red weighing scales. and i also like looking at the kitchen brochures, even if it does end with a sigh and an "if only" :-(

Nice to know I'm not the only one.
Got to find a way to improvise a steamer for tonight, I've got about 2kg of mussels to cook.

big pan full of water with a colender or seive over it (BUT NOT TOUCHING THE WATER) then a lid on top of the mussles in the colender, job done might need to cook in batches
or a quick link to an instructable (which is pretty much what i said) http://www.instructables.com/id/Quic...-Steamer-Hack/
