@tech_guy - you wouldn't be able to get 77 as the new-style number plates will eventually get that high, and you aren't allowed an age-based plate which is newer than the vehicle.

I've always though that personalised plates (Rics excepted) look a bit cheesy. Ric's doesn't look cheesy because it's attached to a Merc CLK and no one notices it!!

Except me who spotted it straight away and though how eeer sad tbh of him having CPU in his plate, although I believe he was going for the Ric part of it instead
