Someone asked me at a party while I was opening a bottle why I chose Dr Pepper. I looked round and said "well I figured, what's the worst that could happen?" and when I looked back I realised that I had just sprayed it all over their light yellow walls

A fitting punishment... nobody should have light yellow walls. They did redecorate shortly after the incident...

I have an active imagination, so the Dr Pepper slogan usually brings on a panic attack.

    There are different versions.

The Uk version uses cane sugar, the USA uses corn syrup, it tastes completely different.

    Oh I see!

Does Dr Pepper come in glass bottles like coca-cola?

For some reason Coca-Cola tastes better out of a glass bottle

That's a conditioned psychological response for you, gotta love Coke's advertising.

Incidentally, coca-cola tastes better out of a Coke-branded glass, cup or other (if you prefer Coke to Pepsi that is). If you prefer Pepsi, coca-cola (any brand) will taste better if your drinking it somehow involves a Pepsi logo.

    Brain-washing all round.

    That can't be true!

It tastes better out of a can than a plastic bottle.. that's not advertised!

But the cans are covered inside with a thin plastic coating

I reckon it might be due to thermal conductivity.

Glass and metal cans will feel colder than a plastic bottle.

Indeed just like beer tastes better out of certain glasses/tap etc. Unfortuatly there is a taste differance its up to the *user* if it is indeed 'better'.
