    Google Wave

Found out about this the other day.

    Check it out
    Google Wave Preview

Apparently the Google Wave protocol is going to be open, so anyone will be able to make their own wave system.
I can see this being an important education tool in the future.
    A future Edugeek project perhaps?

I like the look of this as well - could be very impressive.

ALso heard they might release it on a server box so you can have it internal.

    Now: Microsoft Wave

I found this website this evening:

    Microsoft Wave

Having looked at the content I can't see what is new here. Technologies touted:

    Project Natal [an XBox development]
    Microsoft Tag
    Photosynth
    Deep Zoom
    WorldWide Telescope
    Microsoft Surface

All of which I seem to have hears something of elsewhere. So what is new about Microsoft Wave is that all of these technologies are wrapped up together and given a snazzy group name? Or am I missing something bigger?
