God bless that crazy wee man, without out his influence many of my speakers would not play out brilliance that pink floyd was, and still is. But look on the bright side (no pun intended) floyd may now finally do some sort of last comemorative gig for Syd.

Blimey, I didnt know he'd died. barretts stuff was some of my favourite Floyd and I quite like the madcap laughs album, though I dont think they would have been as big had they kept him, its just sad to see so many influential artists being lost to drugs and alcohol.
