Well maintained school then?
Someones head should roll, but i doubt it will... hll the kids nearly did.
It's horrible that it fell during the exam... My experience of sports halls tells my they're empty a lot of the day and all of the night so the chance of it happening during an exam would, you'd think, be smaller. It's really awful.

The sports hall was refurbished in 2005.

Funny or not, I'm not wrong.

No it's not, it's becoming the 'Sheppy Academy' from this year, but they are having to remain in the buildings of Minster College and Cheyne Middle School until the new academy buildings are ready (They've not even started building them yet!)
The school buildings have suffered majorly with years of neglect, although they did recently (about 4 years ago) have a significant sum of money spent on them when the school was I believe in special measures for a while.
Mike.

Mike, much better explanation than my shorthand.
If its the same building company that do our work, then new building work is more likely to fail than the old stuff.

How ironic would it be if the SAT paper included a question on the physics of falling objects in school halls.
