    anyone Gaggling ?

    no it's not about geese

it's a free (ok,ad-sponsored) web based filtered email service for schools.
    http://gaggle.net/gen?_template=/tem...html/index.jsp

we're thinking of using it and blocking other web based emails for students.

Looks OK, but my first thought is can you trust the company behind it to decide whether the adverts carried are suitable and/or appropriate for the kids?

Adware and only a 2.5Mb mailbox? Then only 25Mb for $4 per mailbox?
Sounds poor to me... have you looked at the google domain thread?

    Re: anyone Gaggling ?

Hi, we have been using Gaggle email (the free version) since I arrived here 2000, not had any problems, very secure. It is a large Canadian Company, lots of schools using it.
Contacted them by email and they set a system up for the school.

It is simple to use, particulary for the Year 7`s, easy to manage, lots of security features, just need to put up with the adverts on the free version.
