Why would you need a netbook version anyway other than cost?
I replaced Vista on my GFs Mini12 (which ran like a dog on the 1.6 Atom) with Win7 RC and its way faster in a back to back test even with aero themes on.

Cost is the only reason I can think of 7 RC runs fine on my netbook with all the jazz turned on.

Yep bless it it's my best purchace in ages.

One thing i'd like to be able to do is turn off the bluetooth, I don't use it very often so it's another thing using the battery. Any ideas other than stopping the service, I think there was a Samsung tool under XP?

Disable the Bluetooth hardware device? I think there is a samsung tool, left mine on my desk at work as I use it there as well as home so cannot check tonight i'm afraid, but surely if you disable the hardware that will kill it off nicely

I'm sure most of us will do the right thing anyway and pay 30 for a Windows Upgrade licence and install Windows XP.

@ john, i'll get on Samsung tonight and look for that util, disabling it seems a bit messy

@ fafster, I had been running Ubuntu Netbook Remix and I was very impressed but I removed it to try Windows 7 RC and haven't looked back.

@ cookie, ive looked today and cannot see any software for turning it off, just you can right click the bluetooth tray icon and say turn off but thats the MS icon nothing more fancy than that I'm afraid.

On my Dell Mini 9 you need the Dell utility to switch before various combo's of wifi/blutooth on/off. Is there a similar beast for the Samsung? (the Dell one was a Vista driver for a different Netbook since my mini was released XP/Linux only).

There might be a util on Samsungs site but it too was released as XP only.

Well I downloaded the Vista drivers and utils but still no option to turn bluetooth off. The Windows key + X brings up a few options like turn off wi-fi but not bluetooth. Ah well it's not important I'd just like to be able to.
