But will we get a race without the safety car? Interesting it certainly will be, looking forward to watching.

    i think rain's unlikely, don't you ?

vettel would be as good a pick as anyone for the race, but i suspect button might sneak the win, with vettel second and hamilton third.

Its a flipping hot one out there And the risk of the sand storm will be a bit of a worry for them I don't think sand in those engines will be good for them

20 laps from the end, and Ferari have just been BLUE FLAGGED!

There seems to be nobody there watching the race. Is this another case of F1 going to Bahrain because of cash rather than the spectators?

in a word. yes. ecclestone obviously a fan of globalisation....sometimes i do wonder whether F1 is a success in the last 2 or 3 years inspite of his best efforts.

as for nobody watching the race, i reckon the stewards who raised the blue flags for massa clearly weren't watching the race, as button was miles behind massa when the flags went up.

Masterly driving by Button and brilliant strategies from Brawn Fantastic. As for the crowds, well would you stand on a non-existant hill in that heat? No they were all in the air conditioned stands. I think it may have been more to do with camera angles than lack of audience. But I could be wrong, it wouldn't be the first time.

    Well done Brawn.
