Although, maybe not, they do have access to computers in prisons these days, or so I am told.

Yeah, doubt that. My cousin just got out and he never had that privilege (nor should he might I add).

We've got a low security prison about twenty miles away and they've got a small PC suite - a friend of mine is employed to go and teach them IT.

Doubt he'd be in a low security prison, having comitted manslaughter and all. Do these machines have internet access? Or is it just for the likes of word etc.

My Dad told me yesterday that his colleague (they do a lot of driving together) goes straight to the OUTSIDE lane on the motorway and stays there for the duration. He asked her why and she said that she didn't like changing lanes so just stayed in the fast lane.

It's quite scary when you think about the lack of skills some of our drivers have. Motorway driving should definately be included in a modern driving test seeing as though it's now such as big part of driving life.

I've come down to Coventry today and was forced onto the hard shoulder once, cut up 3 times and had to do an emergency stop once. Having a SMART car is nice, but because it is smaller you tend to get people being aggressive and dominating.

I have made notes of registrations and locations, have tried reporting at least one but did not exactly get a positive response from the local constabulary ... basically it is my word against the driver (when they find him) as there are no monitoring cameras where it happened so it is unlikely to go further. If there was contact it would be another matter in spite of me arguing that reckless endangerment is reckless endangerment no matter whether there was contact or not ... it is just the case that it is easier to prove if there is.

All the culprits were lorries or white vans ... and I am not going to risk contact between me and one of them just so that the police and CPS can do their job ... I understand their difficulty but that doesn't help me.

I had a friend that used the outside lane for about 50miles... its only when he finally pulled over and about 3miles of cars went past he wonderd why people where flipping him the V....

I then had to explain what the fast lane was for and he said oh I didnt know...

will finish reading in a sec but to correct (if some1 hasnt already)
whilst prisons do have computers, and sometimes small suits, they do not have a internet connection, and most of the ones i know about arent event networked, just standalone.

they are not alowed a net connection. my old man just got out 4 months ago, he was on an it course there, (ended up teaching most of it lol)
