    Falafels

The Friday before last I was out on the town (a bit hammered) and this bloke was stood outside a falafel shop. He gave me a free one and from what I remembered they weren't half bad (drunk).

So this Saturday gone I decided to pop into town and get me one of these falafel salad boxes for dinner. I'm a big big BIG meat eater and normally don't touch a thing unless it's part of a meaty meal, but this falafel was awesome!

Thinking I'll be buying a blender tonight so I can make my own at home.

Might just be me being ignorant but i've never even heard of a falafel before in my life. Do they sell them in pizza shops or something?

Here's the one I went to Sylv3r - obviously you're a stones throw away too. If you're ever passing the town I recommend a look in.

We ate them while in Cairo and they helped convince my son that he should be a vegetarian (up until then he was worried about vegetarian food being boring).

    They are lovely!
