One of out teachers has to do a presentation at another school that uses RM IWBs and she asked if she would be able to use her Smart Notebook stuff! I suggested she do a powerpoint presentation. Does the RM software do anything clever (or not so clever) with powerpoint?

In the past using Smartboards, some teachers wanted to use file(s) which were created using the Promethean Activprimary software.
I downloaded the ActivPrimary Viewer which installs fine and also works fine interactively (like most other applications).
There is also a Smart Notebook Viewer which can be installed and again should work fine with RM's whiteboard. Please note I HAVEN'T tried this, but I see no reason why it shouldn't work.

All of the different types of interactive white board software are now meant to work with all interactive white boards, but as you can imagine there are conflicts between some of the boards and certain software.
I know that both the smart and promethean softwares can adapt power point presentations in one form or another, however with it being RM, I would simply show it as a standard power point presentation and not try anything clever with it.

I didn't know RM had their own IWB - I thought they were just resellers for Smart and Promeathean.
They used to have a board which was called an RM classboard, don't quote me on this but I think it was something like an interwrite or gtco board rebranded.
