It's holidays already here, all my pranks are going to have to wait until next year...

Had some fun with language packs already though

One of our teachers is conducting a study with year 8... Involving them all wearing rubber gloves to warm up their non-writing hand, to 'aid concentration through cross stimulation of the brain'. Once it hits about 11:50 they will be asked to fill in a form, upon completion being told they're all april fools

I love how they've thought big about it!

I've put a link on their intranet page saying "click here for youtube access" which just goes to a page with a big "APRIL FOOLS" in the middle of it (with a hit counter so i know how many have been fooled )

I like that idea. Have asked the NM to do it as the intranet page was set up before I started and is badly done.

I've just put a shotcut on the student's desktops that says "YouTube" - when they click it they'll end up loading the Barbie Doll website....

We've done the old turn the wallpaper upsidedown, but the best prank is the Conficker app I made, which we put in startup of the NM. He thought it was real, come running into our office, his face was priceless. We had to show him the picture of Mr T to prove it was a hoax, he was on the phone to EIS to report it!

Some of the teachers here have done an assembly for the year 9 kids.

It was about the spaghetti plantations in Switzerland. They were shown a short video of family's working the plantations and putting the spaghetti (taken off trees) out in the sun to dry

Even after been told it was a joke some of the kids still thinks its real.

    Was great to watch

That's an old BBC one. I liked the last one they did as well, with the hyper-evolved penguins.

Not seen their one for this year yet though.

If you use a standard desktop I would go for a nice print screen of the pupils desktop, set as wallpaper and then hide all icons and taskbar.

To get out of the app make sure it is still in focus and press F12, that's what will bring up Mr T. try it out first as it was quick make!
