Wow, one of my favourite films! I saw "102 minutes that changed America" on the history channel the other day which is a documnetary of just footage from 9/11 with no commentary and it felt just like watching cloverfield.

But isn't it based on a true story so the plot is just real events?

I feel ill just thinking about them...
Great Review on IMDB
There are very few films I've come across which actually make you want to beat yourself senseless with a heavy object. But this is surely one of them. Quite possibly one of the worst films ever made and I can't believe I managed to watch it through to the end! Twice. Once in the cinema and once on TV!

How about "100 films you'd die before you'd watch"!
My number 1 would probably be (and I haven't seen it)
Battlefield Earth, where you have to be a Zetan level 8 to understand it, and a cretin level 100 to watch it.
Other than that, I'd include "The Cook the Thief His Wife & Her Lover". A film where Helen Miren gets her kit off.. oh how unusual. It's not big and it's not clever.... now stop it! In fact any Pete Greenaway film would be on my list.
What others would you tear your eyes out to avoid?
No Offense to your question - Just love that image !!!!

And on the same basis, apart from the fact that they were shocking films anyway - Titanic, which twisted the known facts, and Enigma, which had the americans breaking the Enigma code!

I agree, pretty boring. But IIRC they were evolved robots.
Mission to Mars was pretty good... until the ending.
There are some truly awful "video nasties" that were unbanned. Here's two I can remember:
The Driller Killer (1979)
The Burning (1981)
Oh, and any movie by Uwe Boll is atrocious, for example:
Postal (2007)
In the Name of the King: A Dungeon Siege Tale (2007)
BloodRayne II: Deliverance (2007) (V)
Alone in the Dark (2005)
I can't understand how this guy is still making movies. One of his current projects is listed as "Darfur" - I think the UN needs to step in and put the kybosh on him.

We have all been there, I managed to avoid it for 3 months though. My best mate suffered a similar fate.
