1x ancient PC with old and flickery 19" CRT, running ancient redhat
1x fairly aged laptop running XP home, which technically bleongs to the mrs
1x VIA 500Mhz server with creaky 60Gb IDE hd that contains mp2s/photos and deals with the slim devices squeezebox and has an uptime measuired in years
1x Equiinet cachepilot running SmoothWall Advanced Firewall 2008
Server & Smoothie live in the cellar, WAP and PC in the attic, joined by cunningly routed cat5.
Wireless Router with 3 Pcs. two laptops and an archos tablet.
Been thinking of building me a watercooled pc (as some of you know) and turning my PC into a File Server.
The router is thrown out the window on a regular basis, due to it being a D-Link and rather useless.

Nothing special
I got a Vista machine for my desktop, an AMD Phenom something or other (im pants with specs), 3 gig ram
A server 2003 box, P4 2.8Ghz, 1 gig ram.
An XBOX as a Media Centre. I use TVersity and Orb
One Wireless Laptop thats getting a bit old and think its coming close to the end.
x1 Belkin ADSL/Wireless Router
x1 Dual Head KVM
x1 Cisco 2950 24 Port Switch
x1 Games PC (Mine)
x1 Office PC (For She who must be obeyed)
x2 Laptops (1 Dell & 1 HP)
x2 iPods (1 Nano & 1 Classic)
x1 Nabaztag/Tag
x1 Wii
x1 Colour Laserjet
x1 AIO Photo Printer
x1 HTC TouchDiamond
is it me, or is that a lot of kit...

A god awful AMD 3700+ with 1gb RAM. The only good thing about it is my purple Cheiftech dragon case.
I've also got a PS2, an ancient 3Com router and 14" Sharp TV.

At the last count, something like 9 PCs running OS's like Ubuntu, RedHat, Widows Whatever, with a Win2k3 server. Four Windows XP/ Vista laptops. An iMac. A macbook. 2 wireless networks (one internet facing, one closed). A mess of cat5e. And a whingeing wife who wonders why the electricity bill is so high![]()
I was gonna say! how much is your electric bill hahah
At the moment, none.
Coming to an arrangement with a small business though where they'll pay my internet connection costs, and for a decent pipe, and in return I'll host and support a couple of low-profile servers for them.
Don't know whether its going to go through yet or not, but here's hoping.
1 Zoom X6 router
1 self built PC (wired, can't be arsed to write the spec)
1 old Celeron Toshiba laptop (wireless in the kitchen - ideal for recipies)
My Wife's work laptop occasionally (wireless)
Xbox 360 (wired, streams music, videos and piccies from PC)
Wii (wireless)
Original Xbox (wired, and yes I STILL use it on and offline)
DS (for those Professor Layton puzzle downloads)
After a day here, why on Earth would I want to come home to yet another server ? Don't you guys have other hobbies![]()
1x 20mb/s Cable Modem
1x Netgear WPN 824
1x Xbox 360 [wired]
1x Wii [wired]
1x XP Gaming/Media PC running Tversity to stream media to Xbox [wireless]
1x The little lady's Vista laptop [wireless]
1x Sony PSP [wireless] made redundant by my new..
1x Ipod Touch 2G
ps
Anyone want to buy a PSP?
