    Server room rubber mats

    I need some large rubber mats for my server cabinets to sit on. Does anyone know where I can get these from.

    Couple of thoughts...

    Have your PE dept got any old mats? Secondly electrical wholesalers should be able to supply insulating mats for live working.

    BUT do you really want an insulating mat? Will this raise the risk of static damage? The rack itself would be earthed, but if the mat extends beyond the rack, anyone standing on it could be at a substantial potential to the rack.

    Argos sell a pack of four thin square foam mats desgined to stand weight-lifting equipment on, I should think those should do the job.

    Linolium or tile floors here, non conductive, easy to clean and cheap.
