
It has to be user stupidity for me! Things not plugged in correctly, passwords forgotten, switches set wrong, Fn+F5! IWB source set incorrectly. OK, small things that are easily fixed but by the time I have put down what I was doing, walked to the location, fixed it and returned to my previous job, it's a good 15 minutes wasted.
we arnt as bad as we used to be thinking about it. we have done a good job on educating staff in some areas, others need doing. also rm ones help the old cables unplugged prob.

agree about the distruptiveness of these simple things, which is mostly down to educating the staff, X not working check this list is what we say on staff inductions, doesnt work in practice sometimes but at least we tried.
been there done that lol either that or i was doing something complex where you have to be in the right mind set and after getting bk you really not and takes another hour to get back into it lol
so from the simple job of pushing a nw cable in a station in music thats 5 mins there 2 second fix, 5 min walk back getting nabbed on the way bk 2 lol hour and a half til you can get bk to the same level of efficency lol
