Best way of getting rid of old toners

Hi, we got a load of Konica Magicolor Toners...i think for a 2500. Think there is a couple of Epson C900 toners in there too

Whats the best way to get rid of them and make some money for the IT department?

Tend to find "swapping" them in the local area works quite well.

We have toners that we don't use any more too.

Are these new or used toners? We use Recycool - Recycling mobile phones and printer cartridges with schools for cash for our used toners.

Just make sure you check minimum pick up sizes with them. Our fleet mostly consists of HP 3600s, they wanted to collect a minimum of something like 50 cartridges.

Odd. I've never been turned down before with less than that. The sizes of the boxes we send - I don't think they would fit 50 cartridges in and if they did you wouldn't be able to lift them. We've been using them for about a year and a half now and have about £160 in credit.

Used to use those when at the PWS and never got told about a min of 50 or anything like that.

Just to clear it up, I think the limit is based on the value of cartridges, not quantity.

Because we mostly run colour lasers and personal lasers our waste carts are fairly low value. If you're running a lot of departmental B&W lasers you should fair better. I don't know the exact details, it wasn't me who handled the matter.

Corner of the school playground is a good one. Some old badger will probably make his home out of em.

I purchase my consumables from a place called Document Express (Jenny on 0161 622 5047) and they have 'bought' some random cartridges off me in the past - creditted my account... I'd buy something off them first mind, it's a bit cheeky randomly asking them to buy your ink!
