    According to BT Wholesale, houses at your postcode should be able to support a 3.5Mbps or greater ADSL connection via ADSL Max.

    And to think if I'd not moved to Leeds from Cas I'd have 50Mb Fibre now!
    This is virgin ADSL btw, as I'm stuck in a contract.

    Home Connection:-



    ISP is ADSL24 which is a Enta reseller. On a 24meg adsl2+ connection. Router died recently so currently using an old talk-talk router (long story!) till I get it replaced, hence the slightly slow speeds!

    not true speed oweing to extension cable knowingly slowing things down by around 3mb

    I've no idea - must be something to do with the fibre round here - and maybe our isp don't throttle up?

    we pay enough for it...
