6th February 2009, 11:58 AM #5 The cost of living is average. The average salary is about £15,000, so this is considered a good wage.
It's not my job, but I'm helping out at the moment, as they are without a tech, and the extra money whilst I doing my teacher training is a bonus!
I have recommended that they make the post full time. If you apply and are interviewed, you might like to explore that possibility!
In the years that I've lived here, I have NEVER see a parrot in the wild!

Really? I used to go to Newcastle that way and saw them every other week, either flying about or sat on the buildings! That was back in 2003 though.
As the road speeds up north of the village seeing a flock of parrots fly in front of your windscreen is very unnerving!

That's why I never leave the asprin lying around - if you do the parrots eat em all
