The Met Office has been updating the weather warnings all day.

It doesn't stop there though. The 'warning alert level' for the rest of the country on Monday and Tuesday is 'Be prepared' with only one more level above that one which is 'Take action'

1st February 2009, 05:06 PM #6 About 1cm settled snow here in canterbury, nothing too bad it keeps snowing hard for about half hour, then clears up for a bit. I get the feeling it's going to snow a lot more overnight, so here's hoping!

BBC reckons "Light snow" until beyond 12 noon.

The journey to work has been awful the past couple of times it snows....i catch 2 buses and birmingham grinds to a halt if the weather is a bit iffy!
It would be nice, got loads i could do at home!

Not just me that rates metcheck then. They rekon 100% chance of snow between 12:00am and 6:00am so finger crossed for waking up with a good covering
