Metcheck never fails.
BBC Weather is a joke imo, never seems to be right.
Oh and don't get me started on their use of screenwalls. All I can concentrate on is the huge difference between each screens colour and the massive grid line effect. Is it sad that I actually made an official complaint on their website about that? I think I know the answer already..![]()

According to The Met Office website I am watching North West England has a 'Be prepared' alert issued also. Although the snow warning for your area seems only to apply to higher ground. The warning seems to be more about the cold.
For what it is worth here is the current warning for your area: Link
Time now: 17:48. We have fairly heavy snow and it is settling. Although it is falling heavily at the moment based on what I see out the window at the moment it should not present a problem tomorrow....
Secondary update: Time now: 18:50. Snow has stopped falling and it has left a light dusting. Not good for what I want so far....

According to the metoffice website its going to snow the whole of monday in Birmingham...

As is my son!
We drove home from Bluewater in a blizzard about 1pm, but our town had virtually nothing when we got here.
We can now almost not see the grass, which for West Kent is quite a lot of snow, and it will probably paralise everything tomorrow.
Living only 5 minutes walk from my school, I'm part of the emergency team and will be in come what may tomorrow. We could have very few students with any luck!![]()
did 19 mile mountian bike ride up in the north yorkshire moors today... tackled a blizzard for about 2 miles..
What are the chances for me to drive from London to Kent along the M2 / M20 tomorrow?
Do you think the train would be better?
The snow is settling well in Kent, I'm told. If it's there in the morning then I'm not sure trains are going to be much quicker.
Ask your buddies the site agents to throw a spanner in the boilers and voila!
I doubt i will be so lucky to have my school closed but i am praying hard to everything that's evil.
I've just drove home in it, I drove in the purley/croydon area! its coming down fast!!
Cant wait for tomorrow morning when i get up at 5:45AM!!!![]()
There's actual proper snow lying on the ground in London![]()
