    Cheap aa batteries

Anyone know where the cheapest place to get AA size batteries. Not bothered about rechargeable just alkaline but I need bulk. Found a site the other week but as usual I now can't find it again. Sure they were selling about 130 for £16. Need them for some control work.

I use CPC CPC | CPC - Over 100, 000 products from one of the worlds leading distributors of electronic and related products.. Probably not the cheapest but the GP batteries are a fair price and I use them and other consumables to get the order value up to avoid postage. The problem we have with the cheapest sources is getting an account set up.

Poundland sell 8 packs of Sony and 12 packs of Kodak? Suppose it depends if you have one local and if you would "dare" to be seen in one!

    Sure those are kosher?

I'd stick to CPC, only £10 for 40. Linky!

    If you don't really need alkaline how about BATTERY, ZN-CH AA 1.5V PK40 at £4.41 / 40?

Procells are very good. They are duracells in bulk packaging. They do AA's in boxes of ten, and they generally retail at about £3.50
