Either way its funny to see a German swear word plastered all over the BBC website.
Anyone been hit by this?
Also anyone read in PCPRO about the new virus that spreads on the MBR and runs outside of the OS? Very nasty from what was said and almost impossible to detect with normal AV tools.

i know its hitting vista now on mem sticks as it autoruns and brings up a menu saying "open this folder" twice, and one of them installs the virus while the other opens the folders normally.
*touch wood* haven't been hit by it, but did hear that a school in Nottingham had its network downed due to a virus, but can't confirm if it was conficker
