Cordless VoIP phone

I'm looking for a couple of cheap phones to use with Skype, mainly to talk to my family in Portugal. Any recommendations please?

I bought a couple of these a few years ago and they have served me well.

They are not true wireless VOIP handsets - they are essentially DECT phones with a base unit that plugs into the PC via USB. They do work very well though, and you can access your Skype phonebook from the handset. Not bad considering the price they are now, but not too many places stock them any more, which is a shame.

Just checked and an Amazon review claims there's an issue with Vista but I hadn't thought of a combined DECT/VoIP phone. Ebay here I come.

I use Vista and it works fine for me once you select the correct sources in the Skype options. Official Vista drivers are on the Logitech website.

I've used a pair of Siemens ones ages ago that supported skype and were good and am just about to order a set of the true VOIP IP Phones they do for home, Buy Siemens Cordless Phones and Siemens Gigaset DECT Products from DST, Wirral, UK they seemed to get good reviews last time I looked.

Im after what the original poster was talking about, but i want something that doesnt rely on DECT.

Something similar to NETGEAR SPH200W WiFi Phone with Skype® maybe, but that is UK compatible and will log on to *any* wireless network.

Does such a thing exist?

I ordered one of these and been using it for a couple of weeks now. Its awesome. Picks up and connected to the wlan no problem. Roams between the 3 APs in the house seamlessly, displays the skypeout credit on the screen, and gives a list of all online contacts etc. Cant seem to figure out how to text message yet, but ive still not RTFM yet.

Makes using skype so much easier.
