She was the World's oldest person and then she died, making someone else it. So can the World's oldest person die. Bit like "The King is dead, long live the King!"

The headline is syntacticly incorrect but I'm guessing that "Worlds oldest person as at 2/1/09 looses title to younger compeditor" probably lacked the pep, zing (eww, marketing terms - I feel dirty) and tact that they were looking for![]()

Then they would be the World's Youngest Person also. However, the person would have had to foresee their own demise in order to set up the pre-press beforehand to automatically publish after their death. Major flaw in all of that - there would be no point in publishing the fact since there would be nobody to read/see it.

You try marketing AOL to dolphins. Firstly they just want to p*** about in the sea all day. Then you've got the whole computers and water issue, and anyway how do you use a keyboard when you have flippers.
I'm off to live in the ocean, anyone got any pointers about how to avoid sharks and digest raw fish. Plus I'm not entirely confident about breathing underwater either. I might have a test run in my bath tub later.
